Dolphin Removals

Dolphin Removals came to us with a unique business plan - to marry up the empty "backloads" which removal firms are potentially left with after moving clients across the company.By allowing trade users to see a "notice board" of empty vans, costs could be cut and profit made.

The solution

We suggested using a content management system which would allow Dolphin Removals to keep the regular content of the site fresh and optimised for search engines.

In addition, a bespoke system was developed which allows new users to be set up by Dolphin and a unique username and password generated for them. A "snapshot" of the Trade Notice Board can be seen on the home page. By paying an annual fee, the trade users can log in and find out more details on backloads.

Dolphin also has the facility to select key backloads and email these to potential advertisers.

For the "public" side of the site, a system was developed which allows users to search for removal companies by date and location. Users can then select which of these appeal and ask for those companies to contact them direct.

The Technologies

  • Drupal Website Theme Design using css/xhtml
  • Integration with Drupal Content Management System
  • Customised Drupal modules
  • PhotoShop
  • Illustrator

Saving-Faces have been working with InterFace for the past 4 years which is testament to their continuing excellent and responsive service.

We have no hesitation in recommending InterFace and indeed, have done so on several occasions!

I'm delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend Interface. With no prior knowledge at all of website programming, I'm amazed how easy it has been to learn the ropes of content management and further develop my own site.
